SASSA Will Take Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA might be rendering services including new social grant applications, change of payment method, client treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency stated it truly is alarmed regarding the significant amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention on the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your superior range of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“That is due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office focused on service the area every day. The provider position developed for intervention encounters a large influx of opportunity beneficiaries, that makes it hard for your Workplace to attend to all people who take sassa status a look at a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional assets to enable the servicing of all customers and raise entry to Social Assistance providers,” the agency said.
